The Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care released Tuesday its first five-year strategic plan along with its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Action Plan.

The plan, “Growing Oregon Together,” outlines six goal areas for the one-year-old agency: access, Tribal sovereignty, infants and toddlers, workforce, relationships, and foundations. The department aims to foster coordinated, culturally appropriate and family-centered services for all students and early childhood care and learning professionals.

The DEI plan aims to pair with the strategic plan to show the mission, vision and values that will drive the agency, according to a news release.
