Students with disabilities made up 17% of public school enrollment in 2020-21, according to the latest data snapshot from the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights. The snapshot shows deep education inequities for those students.

The 2020-21 Civil Rights Data Collection includes the ability to examine the information by individual state.
