The Oregon Department of Education is planning now for an expected 2025-27 Summer Learning Grant program. ODE will hold an informational one-hour webinar at 9 a.m. Friday, April 18.
House Bill 2007 would authorize ODE to set up a summer learning program with funds attached. The bill, which has already passed the House, is scheduled for a Senate vote Wednesday, April 16.
The webinar, which requires registration for Friday but will be stored on ODE’s State Summer Learning webpage, is an opportunity to learn about program requirements and potential funding. ODE will release more information as the details are finalized. ODE’s Summer Learning Team at [email protected] is also available to answer questions.
