| The
OSBA CaseLaw system is your one-stop connection to comprehensive
education case law from throughout the country.
CaseLaw is a valuable
new searchable database of school-related case summaries of U.S.
Supreme Court, state supreme and appellate courts, and federal
circuit court cases. The CaseLaw Database, free to members, is
compiled by OSBA’s Policy and Legal Services staff.
We’re continually
expanding this database of cases that we hope will be very
useful to OSBA members. Three times a week, we’re searching
nationwide dockets to extract and summarize cases that could
have a bearing on public education in Oregon.
You may search by
courts, case names, or topics, i.e., athletics, curriculum,
employment and labor, finance, local governance, NCLB Act,
privatization and choice, property and facilities, school
safety, special education and disabilities, and technology.
