PR
in Action OSBA's unique subscription service provides
quality materials to help boards and districts do a better
job communicating.
Audits This service ranges from a comprehensive look at the
entire spectrum of a district's public relations
activities to an examination of just one aspect of a
district's communications.
Community
Survey Assistance and Analysis OSBA staff will work with your district to identify
the most appropriate survey method, help identify issues
to cover in a survey questionnaire, put you in touch with
survey firms who can conduct telephone surveys and help
your district use the survey results.
Focus
Groups This method of "organized listening" can
help you put your finger on the pulse of your community.
You will discover the perceptions community groups have
about your district and better understand how to address
specific issues, e.g. budget priorities for school
improvement.
Contract
Services Districts can contract with OSBA for regular
communications services or special projects. Our staff
will work with you to help you develop a communications
plan and provide a contract employee, screened and
supervised by us, to do the work. Such contract services
could include staff or community newsletters, other
district publications or media relations.
