HTML This icon stands for an HTML document. You simply need an internet browser to view these files. Most word processors can handle these formats too. |

Adobe Acrobat These icons stand for an Adobe PDF file (Portable Document Format). More About PDF |
Once Acrobat Reader is installed, simply click the link to open it in Acrobat Reader. Netscape will launch the complete application, while internet explorer will integrate it in the browser. You can download the file by right-clicking the link and selecting "save target as" or "save link as". Those documents presented with the icon are accessed from the linked title of the document. When a icon is provided the document is accessed from the icon itself. |

WinZip Archive
This icon stands for a ZIP file. A .zip file contains compressed data and usually includes many files in a variety of formats. Before using the downloaded zip file you'll need to decompress (extract) it. Some zip files on this site are "self-expanding" and will extract automatically when you double click on the downloaded file. Self-expanding files have a .exe extension ( filename.exe) rather than the normal .zip extension ( filename.zip). The best known utility to extract a zip file is Winzip. |
Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator will prompt for saving unless you have the Winzip browser support add-on installed. If it appears as though nothing happens or you are not prompted for saving when you click on the link you'll need to " right click" on the link and select "save link as" or "save target as" from the menu that appears. After downloading has finished, " double click" the zip file and extract it. If nothing happens or you are presented with an "open with" menu, check to make sure Winzip is installed correctly. After the files are extracted you can open them in the appropriate application(s). Help with downloading files. |

Stuffit Archive (Mac)
This icon stands for a Mac SIT file. A .sit file contains compressed data and usually includes many files for use on a Mac. However, it can contain any or all of the above formats. The best known utility to extract a .sit file is Stuffit. |
Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator will prompt for saving unless you have Stuffit installed. If it appears as though nothing happens or you are not prompted for saving when you click on the link, try clicking and holding the mouse on the link. You should then be able to select "save link as" or "download link as." After downloading has finished, drag and drop the file on the Stuffit Expander to extract it. Afterwards you can open the extracted file(s) in the appropriate application(s). |
