OSBA is looking for new board member

The week of Jan. 23 OSBA will send emails to every school district, ESD, community college board and school board member in the Multnomah region announcing an opening on the OSBA Board of Directors. The email will contain all the necessary paperwork for consideration, or an applicant can also contact OSBA Executive Assistant Jane Leonhardt at for materials.

Applications are due to OSBA by 5 p.m. Feb. 24. The OSBA Board will get the materials the week of Feb. 27, and they will make the appointment the week of March 6. Applicants should be prepared to attend the March 17-18 OSBA Board/Legislative Policy Committee meeting in Salem.

The Board consists of up to 21 directors who are elected on a regional basis for two-year terms. Board members create and promote OSBA programs and policies.
