Labor and employment workshops planned for February 2017

The 2017 OSBA Labor and Employment Regional Workshops will be held at six sites around the state beginning Feb. 1.
The sessions include advice from OSBA negotiators and a representative from American Fidelity Insurance on such issues as wage and hour laws, insurance trends, arbitration and unfair labor practices; bargaining trends and strategies. Workshop content is designed for board members, district superintendents, community college presidents, human resource directors and business managers.
This year’s sites are Pendleton, Feb. 1; Redmond, Feb. 2; Coos Bay, Feb. 7; Springfield, Feb. 8; Medford, Feb. 15; and Hillsboro, Feb. 16. The $135 registration fee includes dinner and all materials (conference materials will be ELECTRONIC ONLY and made available through BoardBook for each attendee).
