September 2024 OSBA Board of Directors Meeting Agenda

 

The OSBA Board of Directors will hold an executive session on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The executive session is being held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(a) “To consider the employment of a public officer, employee, staff member, or individual agent,” ORS 192.355(9), and ORS 40.225.

 

Public Comment: This public comment is for the limited purpose of receiving comments on the executive director hiring standards, criteria, and policy directives discussed in the meeting and outlined in the board packet including comments on the following documents and information just discussed: 1) executive director hiring process; 2) executive director job description; 3) executive director salary range; and 4) resolution to establish hiring standards, criteria and policy directives for the hiring of an executive director by direct appointment. Speakers may not comment on any other matter. Comments on other matters can be directed to [email protected]. Citizen input shall be three minutes per person. Each person wishing to address the Board must individually request to be recognized during the public comment period by submitting a comment in the chat with their full name or by raising their electronic hand and, when called upon by the President, unmuting and stating their full name and school board or entity they represent, for the record, before speaking.
